Which projects will add value to your home? Advice from Houzz

Updated: Jul 18, 2022

If you have the rumblings of what I call, "the spring refresh fidgets" - which happens every year as the weather starts to change, everyone feels a bit more positive and ready for a change somewhere then this is a very good (short) article by Amanda Pollard at Houzz to peruse whilst you have your coffee on this lovely sunny morning, Helping you to make your home your castle in the nicest possible way...

In a nutshell, aside from the usual estate agent favourites, a modern kitchen and bathroom, a well presented entranceway, plenty of storage, a loft room, a garden room and more open plan ground floor connected spaces seem to be increasingly on the wish list of new buyers, so they are spaces to consider really carefully and incorporate into your projects.

We would always recommend really good advice before you start any home renovation and as we interior designers know fully well, it's all in the planning. Avoiding rushing into anything, but ensuring your budget is fully forecasted, your contingency is squirrelled safely away and you know exactly what the plan of action is and who you will ask to do every piece of the works ahead. the what where how and when, will lead to a much less worrysome project and hopefully a more exciting and pleasureable experience for you and your spaces.

If you need any guidance or advice on how to carry out your project, give us a call.

We are always happy to assist.
